Noah's Charm...

Noah’s Charm… People close to me know that I always wear a piece of jewelry that I refer to as "Noah's charm," and they know the story behind it. Several years ago, a friend of mine was wearing a bracelet with this same charm on it. When I inquired, she explained to me that a friend of hers (and now a friend of mine) had actually designed it - at first glance, it is a heart with two angels praying, but upon closer examination (or when you see the shadow it casts), you can see the face of Jesus. Back then, I didn’t know why, but I just had to have one, so my friend referred me to her friend's website (www.trubelievers.com) and I found that same piece of jewelry. Its real name is "Truth," but I call it “Noah’s Charm.” The reason I call it Noah's Charm is that when Noah first awoke in the hospital after brain surgery to remove a tumor in May of 2007, I was wearing this necklace. As I leaned over his bed to talk to him, one of the first things he said to me was, "I see Jesus. You have Jesus." My prayer for him had been just that: for him to see Jesus' face while we were separated by unconsciousness. I knew what he was talking about and I could feel the weight of the charm swinging back and forth from its chain as I leaned over his bed. I was a little surprised, because most people see the angels at first, but Noah saw Jesus first and then the angels. So, touching the charm hanging from my neck, I asked him what else he saw and then he told me he saw the angels. I've been calling the "Truth" necklace "Noah's Charm" ever since. That necklace means a great deal to me. It has been a source of comfort, strength, confidence in the power of prayers offered and prayers heard. It is a constant reminder to me that God is never NOT with us, He is ever present, all knowing and all powerful, He is always with us.

God...Always Answers Prayer When the idea is not right God says, "No." When the time is not right, God says, "Slow." When you are not right, God says, "Grow." When everything is all right, God says, "Go." Then miracles happen! Remember: God's delays are not denials. God's timing is perfect. Patience is what we need in prayer.

We are living Noah’s miracle. We are living his complete, permanent, earthly healing and restoration. Noah KNOWS that God has healed him. Noah KNOWS that God has touched him. Noah KNOWS that he has felt God’s healing hand upon him. Noah KNOWS what he KNOWS and walks, lives, breathes it in faith. We follow his example. Noah KNOWS what he KNOWS and nothing else matters.

Let this necklace be a symbol of constant prayer for my son, Noah Bailey Dowell, prayer for all the other Mighty little ones fighting for their lives and praise for God's faithfulness..
